We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis on accounts receivable performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Setting up family accounts and checking student enrolment information
  • Maintain strong relationships with families and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain Point of Sales system and accounting software

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting and administrative environment, with emphasis on debt collection and the flexibility to meet accounting reporting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage and work within a minimum of supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills and proven conflict resolution skills sufficient to handle difficult situations
  • Proven proficiency accounting programs intermediate-level Excel skills and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to liaise with students, parents and fellow staff members
  • Excellent analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and multi-skilling
  • Knowledge of Accounts payable operations desirable
