At East Malvern Early Learning Centre, we know our team is a massive part of what makes us special! We are seeking a passionate and caring educator who is a team players and have completed their DIPLOMA of Early Childhood Education. The applicant requires strong verbal and written communication skills, understands early childhood development, and can effectively build relationships with children and families. They demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to reflect on and improve teaching practices. They will be working alongside an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) and will also have multiple opportunities to step into the role of group leader throughout the year.
We are a privately owned long day care service educating 50 children. We have been assessed by ACECQA and received the rating of EXCEEDING NATIONAL QUALITY (in all areas). We are committed to providing a child safe environment. We are in a wonderful location with access to public transport, a variety of local cafes, and local parks the children get opportunities to explore. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community.
To be considered for this position, you must have experience working in childcare and also need the following:
- Completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Available 5 days per week (permanent part-time 37.5 hours per week)
- Working With Children Check Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Anaphylaxis Certificate
- Strong Communication Skills
