Are you a passionate, proactive, and motivated educator seeking a long-term role in a rewarding, non-profit setting? We are currently working with a service that is looking for a Diploma Educator to join their toddler room in South Yarra, where your contributions will help shape the future of the children we care for.
This service is deeply committed to a child-centered approach, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Their philosophy ensures that every child’s learning, development, and care are at the forefront of their practice.
The service takes great pride in always exceeding the required educator-to-child ratio, which allows for a higher level of individual attention and care for each child.
About the Role:
As a Diploma Educator, you will work alongside the Room Leader to plan activities, nurture the children, and build meaningful connections. You will facilitate child-led learning experiences that reflect both the EYLF and VEYLDF frameworks, ensuring a positive, enriching environment for the toddlers in your care.
Key Details:
- Position: Full-time Diploma Educator
- Age Group: Toddler Room (13 children)
- Salary: Children’s Services Award, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience and contribution
- Location: South Yarra VIC
- Type: Non-profit Early Childhood Education Centre and Kindergarten with an Exceeding Service rating
Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)
- Current WWCC (Employee)
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Certificates
- Strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Current working rights in Australia
- Motivation & drive to make a positive impact
