The Role:

Coordinator | Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) | Sydney’s South

The Quick Details:
Are you ready to step into a leadership role that offers autonomy, a fresh environment, and the chance to work with a service embedded in its local community? This is a place where you can lead, innovate, and drive real impact.

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $85,000 - $100,000, including allowances and 4 extra wellbeing days per year.
  • Enjoy 35-38 hours per week, with 25 hours on the floor and 10 - 13 hours as admin time each week to develop and enhance the service.

About the Role:

  • Lead a thriving (OSHC) service in a holistic, child-centered environment.
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations.
  • Design child led, play rich programs that foster holistic development, supporting agency, creativity, and collaboration under My Time, Our Place.
  • Support and train a 2IC to ensure continuity and leadership growth within the team.
  • They value flexibility: split shifts, except during vacation care, and allowances for uniforms, child protection, and professional training.
  • Collaborate with school leadership while maintaining your independence within the OSHC space.
  • Lead a service that supports the local community.
  • Manage your own team in a well-respected, unique service.

About the Service:

  • Dedicated community focused NFP service where your work supports local families and fosters meaningful connections.

  • Deep connections with the school community, offering access to outdoor learning and play spaces with access to many other indoor spaces on the grounds.
  • Embedded in a multicultural environment, supporting children from diverse backgrounds.
  • Rated highly in the community for its unique approach and connection to both children and families.
  • Flat-line structure, giving you full autonomy to make meaningful decisions that benefit the children and community.

About You:

  • You’re passionate about child-led and play-based learning, with a strong understanding of the NQF and MTOP.
  • Looking for a leader that embeds continuous improvement into their practices, through curiosity, reflection, and growth.
  • You thrive in leadership roles and enjoy building relationships with your team and community.
  • Ready to take on the responsibility of a Nominated Supervisor (NS) and Educational Leader (EL).
