About the role

This is an opportunity to join AIBI Higher Education as a Full Time Lecturer and Campus Coordinator in our Melbourne campus. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tertiary education to our students, as well as managing the day-to-day Academic operations of our Melbourne campus. This position offers a full-time, permanent appointment with excellent benefits and opportunities for career development.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering engaging and informative lectures on a range of business or IT subjects
  • Developing and updating course materials to ensure they are relevant and aligned with industry best practices
  • Providing academic guidance and support to students to help them succeed in their studies
  • Coordinating the administrative functions of the Melbourne campus, including timetabling, student support, and facilities management
  • Collaborating with the wider academic team to continuously improve the quality of our programmes
  • Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the Institute through active participation in meetings and workshops

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tertiary education, with a proven track record of effective teaching and student engagement
  • Strong background in business or IT fields, or a related field, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible way
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and industry partners
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and learning management systems to enhance the student experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
