We’re recruiting for a Technical Account Manager to join a growing business that specialises in providing tailored technical solutions across industries such as facility cleaning, kitchen, laundry, horticulture, and processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong customer service background who is also comfortable with some basic hands-on technical work.

The Role:

This is a mix of account management, technical service, and sales. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing an existing client base across QLD
  • Providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and installation of various items (basic handyman work required)
  • Working closely with customers to identify and implement solutions
  • Handling some administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations

Breakdown of Responsibilities:

  • Technical Service – 60% (troubleshooting, installations, product support) hands on getting out there with the customer and assisting them with the basic products (don’t worry this is not a super technical product, think – the ability to hang a picture)
  • Sales & Account Management – 30% (building relationships, driving growth) driving new business through trades and nurturing accounts.
  • Administration – 10% (keeping records, reporting)

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Customer service and strong communication skills
  • Basic technical knowledge or the ability to learn quickly
  • A strategic, methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Self-motivation and reliability – able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in trade-related industries, tools, plumbing, or equipment sales (preferred)

Candidates with experience at Sydney Tools, Bunnings, or similar environments will be well-suited to this role.
