The Client
With decades of experience in development, head contracting, and property management, this construction company has consistently set the benchmark in the South Australian market for architecturally exciting projects.
These projects are high in quality and finish and exude a unique style that inspires and excites them.
Yet, they remain affordable to first-time home buyers or investors, making them accessible to a broader audience.
The Project
This company is renowned for building communities, not projects, and its Mona Lisa of flagship communities is coming in 2025.
This 30-apartment 6-level project is worth around 30M dollars and has everything a modern inner-city community could want. Starting at the end of February.
The Site Manager
- You are an experienced Carpenter. Knowing the intricacies of carpentry as a base foundation is needed for this candidate to manage this flagship community. Sadly, the build's complexities won’t be met without it. Preferably, ten years plus an out-of-the-trade minimum would be ideal but not essential.
- You are a mid-rise residential apartment specialist. As most of this mega project is that type of build, you’d need to have previously managed two or three sites of that type to confidently and successfully run this project. Them being completed from inception to handover by you is the most essential aspect.
- You are a developer builder. For most of your management career, you’ve managed the structure, fit-out, and defects of projects over $30M.
The Perks
- You are on the best project of 2025. No project I know of starting next year has had this level of planning, sophistication, backing, talent, and mastery applied to it. They will have the best of the best on it from day one, and if you're interested in the longevity of work, you'll be on this project for almost half a decade, so be ready for a journey.
- You will be paid what you are worth. Arbitrary-sounding, I know, but to hire the best, you must compensate them. Especially since you will be on the project for a long time, knowing when times get tough, the high wages will keep you going is a top priority. Yet, of course, it's on a case-to-case basis determined by many factors, which we'll discuss together.
- You're running the show. Remember, you will build apartments of the highest calibre and need someone who loves quality, autonomy, and leading from the front. Invaluable and almost unbelievable!
