Position: Breakfast Cook / Senior Kitchen Assistant
Type: Permanent, Part-Time

An opportunity exists for an experienced breakfast cook/senior kitchen assistant to become part of the permanent kitchen team at award winning Billabong Retreat

Billabong Retreat, nestled in a serene and natural environment, is seeking a Breakfast Cook / Senior Kitchen Hand to help prepare and serve breakfast to our guests as well assist our chefs with preparing lunch and dinner and other kitchen assistant duties.

Duties:

• Prepare and serve high-quality breakfasts that delight our guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
• Work closely with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
• Support senior staff with kitchen duties and contribute to food prep.
• Dealing with food intolerances and dietary requirements.
• Receiving stock, assisting with ordering and packing away orders.

About You:

• Previous kitchen experience (ideally in breakfast or senior kitchen hand roles).
• Passion for creating great food in a supportive environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude!
