Rentco are an established national heavy transport equipment rental provider with branches in all capital cities across Australia offering a national fleet more than 4,000 trucks and trailers. The High Wycombe branch offers a fleet of 800+ heavy trucks and trailers that are maintained and presented to the highest standards.
Due to increased rental volumes and a rapidly growing fleet, we are seeking someone to join the team.
About the Role
A full time, permanent position for an experienced Service Coordinator in our head office branch located in High Wycombe, Western Australia working Monday to Friday.
Purpose of the position
You will be reporting directly to the Branch Manager and will provide support to the Rentco Operations and Workshop space for administration tasks as well as managing invoices and coordinating on and off site contractors to attend breakdowns in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures. Assist other department in all areas when needed.
- Manage and coordinate all administration functions within the head office and ensure they are carried out to the best possible standard in accordance with directives from the CFO and company policies.
- Ensure that given tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner under directive from the CFO
- Ensure that all customer, staff, and supplier contact is courteous and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport experience
- Invoicing
- Data entry
- Coordination of on-site and off-site contractors
- Maintenance coordination for hire equipment
- Organisation of breakdown services
- Required Skills & Experience:
Additionally, this role will involve after-hours breakdown assistance, including:
- Coordinating off-site contractors to attend breakdowns
- Ensuring customers are followed up and kept informed until the issue is resolved
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A demonstrable experience in office administration, accounts and rental experience will be considered a strong advantage
- Computer literate – training will be given on our internal software rental system
- Strong attention to detail
- Friendly, confident, and outgoing personality
- Excellent organisation skills
- Ability to work in a close-knit team and work unsupervised
- A "Can do" attitude is essential
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug/alcohol screening
- Ability to ensure that safety is always a priority
