We are seeking an experienced Commercial Business Partner for our Melbourne CBD based client!

This pivotal role will be the key commercial driver, providing essential financial support and strategic direction across the business. You will oversee project management for business and process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals, cost savings, and overall EBIT margin growth.

You will lead the financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to guide the company's strategic decision-making and support its long-term planning.

As a trusted advisor you will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, ensuring timely and insightful financial reporting, while identifying opportunities for operational improvement.

Providing comprehensive commercial support, including analysis, reporting, and actionable recommendations.

Leading project management of business/process improvement initiatives that unlock savings, achieve sustainability goals, and drive EBIT margin growth.

Undertaking end-to-end reviews across all business areas, identifying and executing improvement initiatives.

Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic financial consultant for key business stakeholders.

Oversee the delivery of the strategic plan's financial commitments, key initiatives, and M&A activities.

Ensure timely and insightful financial reporting to key business stakeholders.

Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support long-term strategic planning and risk assessment.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in close collaboration with department heads to ensure alignment and cohesive execution of business strategies.

This opportunity would suit someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and extensive experience engaging with senior executives and stakeholders.

A Proven problem-solving ability and the capability to create innovative solutions and impeccable analytical skills.

Ideally you will have 5+ years experience in a similar role, preferably within a mid-large corporate retail environment and demonstrated experience in driving value creation and performance improvements.

CA/CPA qualified or significant commercial/finance experience an absolute must have.
