About the Role

This is a casual Sales Assistant role at Katoomba Global Foods Pty Ltd, an established Asian foods company based in Dandenong South, Victoria. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients in the local area, with a focus on promoting the company's range of high-quality Asian food products.

This role is 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday) with additional sales bonuses for all sales transactions. All clients are existing clients and we are looking for strong candidates to really push sales.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting customers with product inquiries and making recommendations to meet their needs
• upselling the range and driving growth
• Ensuring customer accounts are up to date with payments
• Providing feedback to the management team on customer trends and preference.
• Supporting the wider team with any additional administrative or operational tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within the food industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Good numeracy skills and experience handling cash and card payments
• Knowledge of Asian food products and cuisines would be highly advantageous
• A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work
