As their new Business Development Officer, you will play a vital role in expanding their reach by building strong partnerships and ensuring exceptional client service within the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership & Network Development
- Identify and engage with potential partners, including allied health professionals, community organizations, and local businesses to expand the Wise Kangaroo referral network.
- Develop and present detailed proposals for service offerings tailored to the unique needs of NDIS clients.
- Act as an advocate for Wise Kangaroo services by presenting to key stakeholders, including NDIS planners, to demonstrate the value and benefits that they provide.
Sales Targets & Performance Monitoring
- Attend community events, workshops, and seminars to promote Wise Kangaroo’s services and strengthen our brand presence.
- Set and achieve sales targets, aligned with the organisational growth goals.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement outreach strategies that raise awareness of Wise Kangaroo’s services within the NDIS community.
Client Services & Advocacy
- Gather and analyse client feedback to continuously improve and enhance the company’s service delivery models.
- Stay updated on NDIS guidelines, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure our services meet the highest standards.
- Foster strong, trust-based relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Act as a point of contact for clients navigating the NDIS system, offering guidance and support throughout their journey.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners to drive sustainable business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales, client services, or NDIS-related roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
- Passion for advocacy and making a meaningful impact on clients' lives.
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework and experience working with disability services is highly desirable.
- A results-driven mindset with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
