The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client’s National Sales team in Brisbane. This role is critical in driving new business growth while maintaining strong relationships with key clients. Reporting to the COO and State Manager QLD, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Initiate sales calls, generate leads, and secure new customers across various industries.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop tailored transport solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals that meet client-specific requirements.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new clients to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Manage relationships with major accounts to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor account performance and align activities with quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity using the company’s CRM system.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a high-performing “hunter” in transport/logistics sales (e.g., taxi trucks, LTL/FTL).
  • Strong account management skills with a track record of exceeding KPIs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive team player with excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
