About the Opportunity

Working in a fast-growing municipality, this role will require you to be flexible and dynamic.

You will work on the implementation of statutory planning responsibilities of the Council pursuant to the Mitchell Planning Scheme, the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and other relevant legislation and Council’s corporate, strategic, and economic policies and objectives.

This role is a permanent full-time opportunity with a fortnightly RDO. The salary for this role (Band 5) commences at $87.2K inclusive of superannuation, dependent on experience.

About You

We are looking for a tertiary qualified planner who can take on the challenges associated with council planning. You are confident, possess exceptional customer services skills and can work independently and within a team. You will be results driven and have a clear communication style.
