The Darwin Trailer Boat Club Inc (DTBC) is Darwin's premier award-winning waterfront Club. Situated on the shores of Fannie Bay, the Club enjoys iconic stature with locals and tourists alike.

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our management team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years management/supervisory experience, a sharp eye for detail, the ability to lead, a strong work ethic and be a team player.

Duties

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Supervise and train bar attendants.
• Monitor stock levels and control the ordering of supplies.
• Strictly follow procedures/recipes and control wastage levels.
• Lead a close-knit team with a strong team focus.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through patron interaction and responding to enquiries/concerns.
• Ensure the bar is clean and organised to the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Review sales and beverage costs and reconcile any discrepancies in accounting.
• Ensure proper cash management.
• Assist in maintaining our high level of customer service standard.

Required skills & experience

The successful candidate must have:

• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification.
• A minimum of at least 1 year industry experience is required.

Employment conditions

The successful candidate will be working on a full-time basis (38 hours per week) on the club premises at 8 Atkins Drive, Fannie Bay, Darwin NT 0820.
