About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, this key role involves partnering with senior stakeholders across various departments to provide financial expertise, insights, and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Develop business cases with clear financial rationale for investment decisions.
• Manage annual budgeting and support departments in performance tracking.
• Collaborate with external agencies to align financial practices with healthcare reforms.
• Work with the Finance team to optimise revenue and reduce expenditure.
• Design and generate month-end reports with performance insights.
• Identify opportunities for financial sustainability and drive initiatives.
• Coach stakeholders on financial best practices and improve efficiencies.
• Manage and develop Finance Analysts for career progression.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance professional with a strong background in management accounting or finance business partnering, ideally within a large and complex organisation. With at least five years of experience, you will have a deep understanding of financial systems, budgeting, and management reporting, along with strong analytical skills.

You will bring:

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, commerce, or related field.
• Membership in a professional accounting body or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting or finance business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of public hospital revenue, funding, and cost drivers.
• Proficient in financial systems (e.g., Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive in problem-solving and driving business performance.
