About Your Role
The Griffith Base Hospital Manager Quality, Safety and Risk, reporting directly to the General Manager, is responsible for complaints and incident management and the monitoring and reporting of risk management and quality improvement.
The primary responsibilities of the position require a collaborative approach to establish, lead and manage a rigorous Quality and Safety governance framework to improve patient safety and clinical quality.
The role will support all staff at Griffith Base Hospital in all areas of Quality Improvement and Risk including external service as required.
The position provides senior leadership and is responsible for key areas of the organisation, including: clinical governance processes, Incident management and monitoring, Clinical incident reviews, Root Cause Analysis, complaint and consumer feedback management, Audit analysis and monitoring, Accreditation, policy and procedure development and compliance, Clinical forms review and implementation, Medico legal and litigation support, legislation compliance, risk management and quality improvement.Learn more about the role and requirements here.
