Cadsteel Pty Ltd is seeking a steel frame detailer to join our team. You will be responsible for the design and detailing of residential and commercial frames, trusses and mid-floors using Framecad software.

Job Role:

• Produce highly detailed light gauge steel frame drawings and associated documentation ready for manufacturing
• Generate 3D frame models to a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Co-ordinate work schedules
• Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice to ensure all drawings are completed and adhere to Australian Standards
• Provide software training and guidance to other detailers within team
• Training of new and existing employees to become senior detailers
• Update and maintain training manuals and documents
• Advise and critique on detailing and engineering projects to ensure compliance prior to manufacturing and delivery to clients
• Liaise with clients as required to ensure projects are delivered within expected timeframes
• Liaise with external suppliers on processes and standards

About You:

• Minimum 3 years experience with Framecad & Nexa software
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent computer, written and communication skills
• Highly accurate with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• High level time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
