About the role
We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator and Bookkeeper to join our team at Ballyness Pty Ltd in Coffs Harbour, NSW. This part-time role 3 to 4 days per week, 9am to 3pm, will be responsible for managing all administrative and bookkeeping functions within our business. If you have a strong background in office management and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing a range of administrative duties including managing office supplies, filing, data entry and general correspondence
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations, processing invoices and accounts payable/receivable
- Liaising with external accountants and auditors to ensure all financial reporting is completed accurately and on time
- Providing support to the management team across a variety of projects and tasks
- Assisting with HR administration including payroll, leave management and employee onboarding
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of office systems and procedures
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar office administration or bookkeeping role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in programs like MYOB or Xero
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy
- Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a small team environment.
