About the role

Come and join our brand-new North Shore site!

As a production operator, you are the heartbeat of Gouge. Without production operators, we can’t produce quality linen and garments. You could be allocated to the laundry or sort side, which both play an important part in producing high-quality linen. You will need to be reliable, integral and have a positive can-do attitude.

Roles and Responsibilities

Processing linen and garments safely using automated production equipment. You will be rotated around the factory to different machines and tasks.

Ensure the ability to follow work instructions.

Have a can-do attitude and look to challenge yourself by meeting targets and giving 100%.

Work safely, always following OH&S policies and procedures.

Understand quality standards for products to ensure we are delivering a quality product to our customers.

Attention to detail and ensuring linen and garments are checked.

Requirements

Need to be able to complete repetitive tasks that involve pushing, pulling, reaching and pivoting.

Must be reliable and have a demonstrated knowledge of OHS in a factory compacity.

On the Sort-Side, you are required to be vaccinated against Hepatitis A and B and Q fever, or be willing to obtain.
