Chambers Contracting is a family-owned and operated business seeking heavy duty diesel mechanics to join our team in Broome, WA.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and service machinery

Fault finding

Field service

Working on a range of machinery including but not limited to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, road trains, drill rigs, marine engines and crushing plant equipment

What we're looking for

Heavy Duty Diesel mechanic trade qualification

Valid C class driver’s license

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems

Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools required for heavy equipment maintenance and repair

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve complex mechanical issues

Commitment to safety and a track record of working in compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical and non-technical team members

A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence
