About Us:

Canning Bridge Early Learning Centre is a small, not-for-profit centre and a mission of Como Baptist Church, proudly serving our local community for over 10 years. We provide education and care for up to 53 children aged 0–5 years in a warm, welcoming, and homely environment.

Our focus is on building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, supporting each child’s development at their own pace, and helping them grow into confident, capable learners ready for school and beyond. We value connection, community, and genuine care in everything we do.

Essential Criteria for all 4 Positions:

Current Working with Children Check (WA)

Current Police Clearance Certificate (within 6 months old)

CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher

Available to work between 6:45am and 6:15pm

Must be willing to obtain:

Current first aid certificate (HLTAID012 first aid in an education and care setting, HLTAID009 CPR)

Current Child Protection Training

‘I'm Alert’ Food Safety Course

Diploma Educator

Full-time / Part-time (3-5 days per week)
Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

You’ll bring:

Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high quality care

High level of creativity, energy and patience

Minimum 2+ years of previous similar experience

Knowledge in health and safety compliance and protocols to effectively promote and maintain a culture of child care safety and wellbeing

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

A warm, child-focused approach

Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS

Strong teamwork, collaboration and excellent communication skills

Effective communication skills with families and carers

Room Leader

Full-time / Part-time (3-5 days per week)
Lead a room with confidence and creativity, guiding both children and educators in a collaborative learning space.

You’ll bring:

Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high quality care

High level of creativity, energy and patience

Minimum 2+ years of previous experience in a Room Leader position

Knowledge in health and safety compliance and protocols to effectively promote and maintain a culture of childcare safety and wellbeing

Diploma qualification or higher (ACECQA approved)

Assisting and delivering a quality education program based on the individual needs of each child based on the NQF.

Previous experience in people management with the ability to effectively lead and manage a diverse team of educator and foster a positive work environment

Strong leadership and planning skills

Passion for inclusive, high-quality education

Effective communication skills with families and carers

Administrator / Office Support

Part-time / Flexible hours
Keep our centre running smoothly with your organisational skills and friendly approach to family and staff support.

You’ll bring:

Experience in administration (childcare preferred)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and/or childcare software (Xplor experience desirable)

A welcoming, friendly and professional manner

Knowledge of CCS and ACCS (desirable)

Ability to form strong connections with families

Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable)

Data entry skills

Basic knowledge of account and billing

Relief Pool – Casual Educators

Flexible shifts available
