Our team, led by three highly experienced Speech Pathologists, is looking for someone who values connection, learning, and mutual support. If you’re seeking a strengths-based workplace where you can help individuals unlock their voice, nurture meaningful connections, and celebrate individuality, we’d love to hear from you!

Join a team that embraces diversity, honours authenticity, and works collaboratively to make a genuine difference.

About us
At The Sociable Group, we provide individual and group speech pathology and social communication supports for children, teenagers and young adults. We, as a team, are passionate about building a “safe, social haven, where individuals can nourish their authentic selves and build meaningful connections.” We value all forms of communication, affirm the authentic selves of our participants, and celebrate unique strengths.

Role overview
As an Early Career Speech Pathologist (0-3 years post-grad) you will:

Receive a high level of support and guidance from the three experienced Director- Clinicians.

Deliver individual and small group speech pathology interventions (covering articulation/phonology, receptive & expressive language, social communication, AAC, literacy support, etc) in line with our inclusive, neuro-affirming approach.

Plan, prepare and deliver therapy sessions that are fun, engaging and meaningful, tailoring to each child’s interests, strengths and communication style.

Collaborate with families, teachers and other allied health professionals to ensure consistency and real-world carryover of skills.

Contribute to our group social communication intervention programs (for primary school children, teens and young adults), co-facilitate and engage in creativity and social play contexts, community access and activities of daily living.

Participate in team meetings, supervision, professional development and contribute to our growth mindset culture.

Maintain accurate documentation, reports, goal setting, progress monitoring and uphold our high standards of care and ethics.

What we’re looking for

A newly qualified or early career Speech Pathologist (Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology) with an Australian registration (MSPA).

Passion for working with children through to young adults and families, especially those navigating language, social communication, AAC, self-advocacy or emotional regulation contexts.

An inclusive, strengths-based mindset, valuing difference, diversity and the authentic self of every individual.

Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills, you’ll be working with children, families, schools and a multidisciplinary team.

A creative, flexible, energetic approach to therapy, you’ll use your resourcefulness to design warm, engaging sessions.

Willingness to engage with group therapy, small-group social communication programming and non-traditional settings (play-based, community, school settings).

Some experience or interest in AAC, social-communication groups, or literacy/reading/spelling support.

Eligibility to work in Australia, current Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain), drivers’ licence desirable for occasional off-site programs.

Why you’ll love working with us

A friendly, supportive team culture that values professional growth, mentorship and collaboration.

A meaningful role where you make real-life differences in an individual's communication, connection and self-advocacy.

Variety: mix of individual sessions, groups, workshops, school partnerships and community engagement.

A place to be your authentic self, and support others in doing the same.

Convenient Sydney North Shore location (Lane Cove West) in a welcoming clinic environment.

Ongoing professional development, supervision and opportunities to expand your skill-set.
