Head of Commercial Finance

A global technology brand is looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to lead its ANZ finance function. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the numbers and driving commercial outcomes.

About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of financial management, business planning, and commercial performance. You’ll work across budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and contracts while partnering with the leadership team locally and internationally.
You’ll lead a small team and play a key role in shaping strategy, supporting growth, and ensuring compliance with group standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Partner with the MD on pricing, deals, and commercial strategy
• Manage contracts, insurance, risk, and compliance
• Lead audits and year-end processes
• Liaise with global head office (Japan/Taiwan) on approvals and performance

About You
You’re a CA or CPA-qualified finance professional with strong commercial instincts and leadership experience. You’re hands-on, analytical, and confident presenting financial insights that drive decision-making.

Experience in IT, hardware, or distribution will be highly regarded, as will working within a global business structure with a Japanese/Taiwanese HQ.

The Details

• Salary: Around $200k + super
• Hybrid: 2 days WFH 3 days in office (Sydney)
• Reports to: Managing Director
• Start: January 2026 (handover support provided)
