🌿 About the Roles

Support Worker – NDIS Clients

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide direct, person-centred support to NDIS participants in their homes and community. No two shifts are the same — but every one makes an impact.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting daily living (meal prep, domestic tasks, personal care)

Community access (appointments, shopping, social activities, events)

Providing transport, companionship, and encouragement

Building independence, confidence, and life skills

Following individual support plans and communicating with families/coordinators

Active or inactive sleepovers may be required

Cleaning Support – Office & NDIS Clients

We’re also seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Support staff to help maintain safe, hygienic, and welcoming spaces for our office and NDIS clients.

Key duties include:

General cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces)

Bathroom and kitchen cleaning

Waste removal and restocking supplies

Following cleaning schedules and safety procedures

Respecting client privacy and confidentiality at all times

Genuine, reliable, and respectful people with a positive attitude

Great communicators who can build trust and maintain boundaries

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Experience in disability support or cleaning (preferred but not essential)

A willingness to learn and follow Urban Buddy’s person-first, no-BS approach

✅ Requirements

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Australian working rights

For cleaning roles: previous experience and attention to detail are highly valued
