Steel WA is a steel fabrication company specializing in mild steel into the Western Australian building industry. Located at our new facility in the heart of Osborne Park, we are seeing experienced fabricators, boilermakers & welders to join our team in a long term position.

The role consists of fabricating a diverse range of steel products primarily for residential homes, lightweight commercial & some industrial type work.

The successful applicant(s) will need the following:

- Either first class welders / fabricators

- Experience in fabricating T-Bar’s, Columns & Roof beams for the housing sector

- Highly experienced in MIG welding

- The ability to read drawings both structural engineering and shop detailed drawings

- Attention to detail and high quality workmanship is a must

- Experience with weld procedures and is willing to learn and develop further

- Ability to work in a small and diverse team

- A safe work ethic

- Ability to work overtime as industry demand requires

- The ability to use overhead gantry cranes

Highly regarded attributes are:

- Forklift licence

- High risk work licence

- First aid certificate
