We are seeking a skilled and reliable Glazier Installer to join our team. The successful

applicant will be responsible for the installation of glass and aluminium products across

residential and commercial sites. This includes glazing, window and door installations,

shower screens, and security products. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality

finishes and excellent customer service across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Site visit to measure, assess site conditions and discuss type and dimensions of glass with customer

Prepare workshop to lay glass over customised patterns on padded tables and in jigs

Measure and mark glass for installation in residential and commercial applications, including mirrors, skylights, display cabinets, interior walls, ceilings, windows, doors, and shopfronts

Ensure all fitting and glazing work completed without defect and to client satisfaction

Cut glass as required for order patterns and templates

Use specific notched tools and glass pliers to break sheets and excess glass

Use specialised equipment including but not limited to belt sanders and smoothing wheels to smooth rough edges

Fit and install aluminium windows and glass sliding doors

Install security doors and screens

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment on job sites

Liaise with clients, builders, and site supervisors professionally

Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards

Coating, cutting, etching, trimming and treating glass as required for special effects

Skills & Attributes:

Proven experience in glazing and aluminium product installation

Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship

Physically fit and capable of manual labour

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective time management and organisational skills

Good communication skills and customer service approach

Commitment to safe work practices

Requirements:

Valid driver’s licence

Police clearance

White Card (Construction Induction)

Relevant trade qualifications at AQF Certificate III including 2 years' on-the-job training experience in glazing or AQF Certificate IV. At least three years relevant work experience may be accepted instead of formal qualifications

Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
