I am seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Advisor to join the team on a project-based role across either the South Brisbane or Northern Gold Coast regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day safety management on active construction sites.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings.
• Lead incident investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with company and legislative HSE standards.
• Review and monitor SWMS, risk assessments, and permits to work.
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports using systems such as Hammertech or Procore.
• Promote and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture across all site teams.

About You

• Proven experience in a dedicated Health & Safety role within the commercial construction industry.
• Certificate IV in WHS/OHS – essential.
• Strong communicator with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in using safety management systems (e.g., Hammertech, Procore, or similar).
• Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to build rapport across diverse site teams.
