Total Plant Hire is growing, and we are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our small, dynamic team servicing our fleet of equipment across Western Australia.

About the Role

Based in our Pinjarra workshop, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks on our fleet, including:

Rebuilds and installation of mine-specification equipment on vehicles and earthmoving machinery

Diagnostics and fault finding

Preventative and scheduled maintenance

Component change-outs on CAT, Isuzu, HINO, and Toyota mobile plant equipment

This is a full-time permanent role, working Monday to Friday, with a 10/4 roster available. The successful applicant will commence work at 7:00 am to meet operational needs.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

Minimum 3 years post-trade experience with Toyota LV’s, Isuzu Trucks, and Caterpillar vehicles and mobile equipment

Experience with installation of mine-specification to vehicles and earthmoving equipment

Strong commitment to safety and site-specific procedures

Proven breakdown and fault-finding experience

Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a small team

High attention to detail

Essential Qualifications & Licences

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (or equivalent)

Aircon ticket / current Refrigerant Handling Licence

Demonstrated experience with CAT, Isuzu, and Toyota diagnostics and maintenance

Valid Driver’s Licence

White Card

Full Australian working rights

Mine site experience

Forklift Licence

EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights
