About the role

As a Senior Physiotherapist at Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to our patients. This full-time position is located in Strathfield, NSW and will see you work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the rehabilitation and recovery of individuals with a wide range of physical conditions and needs.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans

Deliver one-on-one and group physiotherapy sessions focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance and overall physical function

Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly

Provide education and advice to patients and their families on self-management strategies

Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of physiotherapy policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Recognised Physiotherapy degree and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist, ideally in a rehabilitation or hospital setting

Proven track record in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, team-oriented approach

Australian work rights are required for this position
