About the role

Burdett's Sand Soil & Stone is seeking a reliable and experienced Yard operator loader driver to join our operations team in Langwarrin, Victoria. As a casual employee, you will play a crucial role in the efficient running of our yard, operating various machines and equipment to load and unload materials for our customers. Including driving trucks and agitators

What you'll be doing

Safely operating front-end loaders, trucks, forklifts and other machinery to load and unload sand, soil, stone and other construction materials

Ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of customer orders

Maintaining a clean and organised yard environment

Assisting with general yard duties as required

Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in operating heavy machinery such as front-end loaders, telehandlers or similar

A current Victorian driver's licence (min MR) and ideally forklift/high-risk work licence

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Good communication and customer service skills

Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
