The Role:
As the Web Content Officer (APS4), you’ll support updates to the agency’s websites and digital channels, working with content owners to produce accurate, accessible and user-centered content.

This is a 6 non-ongoing opportunity with the possibility of a further 12-month extension, totaling 18 months in all. There is the further possibility of being able to apply permanently for the role throughout this period.

To be considered for this role you must have existing experience in digital communications, ideally with experience using content management systems.

Government experience is not necessary for this role, and we are looking for someone with skills at the appropriate level as this is a long-term hire.


Role Responsibilities:

• Write, edit and publish web content in the CMS.
• Apply Digital Service Standard and WCAG to ensure accessibility and consistency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver timely updates.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Experience in digital communications and CMS publishing.
• Strong web writing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, Digital Service Standard and WCAG.
• Team-oriented communicator who builds positive relationships.
• Relevant ICT/web qualifications highly regarded.
