The position:

Allied Security is currently seeking Casual Security Officer to support operations at one of Australia iconic landmark in the CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for screening of bags, use of metal detector wands and random searches at entry of premise.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about safety, security, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Access control and screening

Patron safety and assistance

Surveillance and monitoring

Emergency response

Protection of property

Professional conduct and communication

Crowd and event management

Security & Safety Reporting

Workplace Health & Safety

As part of your role, you are expected to:

Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety

Comply with all Allied Security HSE procedures and instructions

Report any hazards or incidents

Never interfere with safety equipment or procedures

Promote a safe and compliant working environment

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Security License – Must have

Valid First Aid Certificate - Must have

Ability to work flexible hours, including 24/7 availability

Strong customer service skills

Skills & Knowledge

Strong decision-making and time management

Commitment to continuous learning

Knowledge of screening procedures and regulatory requirements

High work standards and accountability

Ability to contribute effectively in a team environment
