We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join timber and other materials.

Construct, install, and repair frameworks, doors, windows, stairs, flooring, and cabinetry.

Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.

Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Install fixtures such as skirting boards, architraves, shelving, and cabinetry.

Ensure all work meets building codes, standards, and company quality expectations.

Perform maintenance and repairs on existing structures as required.

Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site to ensure smooth workflow.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in clean, safe condition.

Skills & Qualifications:

Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).

Proven experience as a carpenter in residential and/or commercial construction.

Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience is required.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

Strong understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction methods.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

White Card (Construction Induction Card) required.

Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred.

A valid driver's licence is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.

Comfortable working at heights or in varying outdoor conditions.

Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.
