We are excited to offer an opportunity for an accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our diverse community health service on a fly in fly out (FIFO) basis to Kalgoorlie, in the spectacular Goldfields region of Western Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to get a taste for primary health care in the outback without making a long term move (although we're open to discussing permanent opportunities!).

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to create innovative, sustainable and practical evidence based treatment, rehabilitation or general exercise interventions in a varied and interesting caseload. which includes integrated chronic disease care programs (ICDC), the national disability insurance scheme (NDIS), and private patients.

On offer:

Hourly rate $44.51 plus superannuation

Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of living and lifestyle expenses

Perth to Kalgoorlie Flights and accommodation provided

Your skills:

Relevant tertiary qualification and membership of Exercise and Sports Science Australia.

Good knowledge of and ability to provide education on chronic disease management and prevention.

Developing clinical experience in case management of clients with chronic conditions.

Ability to keep excellent records that meet best practice and can contribute to written reports in a concise, professional, appropriate way.

Diligent, can-do attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Working with children check, NDIS worker check and a national police certificate dated within 6 months.
