Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

We are seeking xperienced Loader Operators for a Monday to Friday (plus some Saturdays) residential roster. This will be working on the Sales loaders.

It is expected to be an ongoing role.

You will be based at our clients sand mine. You will be required to safely and effectively operate the Sales Loader with Loadrite Scales at a busy sand mine.

This position is based in Mount Compass and would suit people living in the southern suburbs of Adelaide (Noarlunga/Hallett Cove) or Victor Harbour & surrounds.

Due to fatigue management we cannot consider anyone who has to travel more than 45 mins each way to site.

About the Role

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

LL Loader Ticket preferred or similar.

Experience operating Loaders with loadrite scales.

A background on a mine site or quarry is preferred but if you have civil experience then you are encouraged to apply.

Current drivers licence and own transport.

A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.

Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

What's in it for you?

You will be be employed on a casual basis.

These roles are offering Day Shift only, Monday to Friday with some Saturday work on occasions.

Hours of work are generally 6am to 4.30pm.

Excellent hourly pay rates with full penalty rates on offer. Take home over $1600 per week (after tax)

Weekly pays.
