OCC Labour Services QLD are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Hoist Operator to join our team on a high-profile commercial high-rise project. The Hoist Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the material and personnel hoist, ensuring timely vertical transportation for workers, tools, and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the construction hoist safely and efficiently in accordance with site and manufacturer guidelines

Coordinate with site supervision and trades to maintain smooth workflow

Perform daily safety checks and inspections on the hoist equipment

Maintain communication with site personnel via radio or other communication systems

Overtime and Saturdays required.

Qualifications

Valid Hoist Operator or Elevator License (HP)

Strong understanding of construction site safety and communication protocols

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-rise environment

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude

Must have recent reference
