We currently have a position available for a Labourer at our Gympie Branch.

We are seeking an enthusiastic all-rounder who is motivated, organised and demonstrates a "Can Do" attitude to all tasks. Communication and forward-thinking skills are a must, as our employees are the “Face of our Company”.

About the role

Your skills and duties required:

Skills

Must have - High-Risk Forklift ticket.

Must have - Manual open car licence with no restrictions.

Must have - Basic computer Skills.

Must have - Fitness ability to carry out manual labour tasks.

Must have - A safe, clean driving history - delivery of small equipment to customers will be required.

Must have - Sound written and literacy skills for the accurate completion of paperwork.

Nice to have - HR licence or willingness to learn to drive a truck - Handy Hire will help train.

Nice to Have – White card – [construction induction safety card]

Good communication skills and customer services skills, serving counter customers and over the phone may be required when busy.

Main Duties

Manual labour includes equipment cleaning using a pressure washer, temp fencing erection.

Loading and unloading customers using a Forklift.

Assist with all yard duties including basic servicing of small plant e.g. checking oil, water, air filters.

Flexibility in relation to hours worked (38hrs normal week - Overtime available)
