About the Role...

Absolute Storage Systems is a Australian owned and operated business located in Dandenong South. Absolute Storage are a gold tier distributor for SSI-Schaefer who are one of the world's largest storage solution manufacturers . We specialise in designing and installing tailored warehouse solutions, repairs and ongoing maintenance for all pallet racking and shelving systems.

We have a 2 man install crew that looks after installing and repairing pallet racking. Due to a recent resignation we have an opening for an immediate start. This role is predominately based in Melbourne, and requires the successful applicant to be in good health. It is physically demanding with a lot of lifting and maneuvering of heavy products.

Ideally, the successful applicant should have previous experience installing pallet racking or has hands on experience with scaffolding or other labour based jobs. You will be required to use hand tools and working at heights in Elevated Work Platforms. Given you will be based off site, you will be self driven, motivated and work well unsupervised.

We are very focused on OH&S and ensuring our team work in a safe environment. You will be provided with the necessary training to ensure you are confident and capable.

The hours are Mon-Fri with a start time of 6:30am at our Dandenong facility.

The successful applicant will have:

A current forklift (LF) and EWP license

Previous pallet racking installation or maintenance experience

Must be fit, strong and healthy to be able to handle the day to day workload and heavy products that will be continually handled throughout the day.

Experience using hand tools such as rattle guns, grinders.

Ideally have experience towing a trailer and being confident when reversing.

Strong verbal and written English is an must.

We will provide the required training necessary to ensure you are given every opportunity to succeed in this role.

This role is fulltime and permanent.
