The opportunity

Join Twelve Chartered Accountants' dynamic team as a Junior Accountant in their Sutherland, NSW office. This is a full-time role where you'll have the chance to develop your skills in the accounting field and contribute to the success of this growing firm.

In this role you will be working directly under the guidance of our Senior Accountant where you play a key role in supporting a variety of clients, ensuring they receive proactive, high-quality service while developing your own expertise.

Key responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Perform account reconciliations and analysis

Contribute to the preparation of tax returns and BAS statements

Provide administrative support to the accounting team

Participate in client meetings and liaise with stakeholders

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field

0-2 years of experience in an assistant accountant or similar role

Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills

Proficiency in using accounting software (MYOB, Xero Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
