We are looking to employ a Casual Sales Assistant to work at our local Liquor Store based in Newcastle surrounding suburb

The applicant must be/have:

- well presented, focused and motivated

- excellent communication and teamwork skills

- committed to providing outstanding customer service

- ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- organised with a willingness to learn.

- valid Australian work rights or citizenship

Duties include but not limited to:

- assisting customers with product selection and purchases, always delivering superior customer service

- receiving and checking stock

- maintaining inventories and replenishing stock

- store merchandising and maintaining shop presentation

- maintaining a clean and neat workspace

-adhering to responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines

- must be at least 18 years of age to comply with liquor licensing requirements

As this is a Casual position it is ideal for a full time/part time tertiary student, however we welcome all applicants. The successful applicant will be required to be available to work at least 8-20 hours per week including weekdays, some evenings and weekends. They must also to be able to be on their feet for long periods of time and carry out moderately heavy lifting.

Previous retail experience is preferable but not essential as we are searching for highly motivated individuals with a passion for the exciting and dynamic liquor industry. An RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) is essential.
