About the role

STAND UP CONTRACTING Pty Ltd in Perth, WA is seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. We required experienced operators with Utility excavation and sub-division experience.

What you'll be doing

Operate civil excavation equipment, including excavators, Loaders and skid steers to carry out tasks as per project requirements

Ensure equipment is maintained in excellent working condition through regular inspections and servicing

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to protect yourself, your team and the public

Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced operators to develop their skills

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and other construction professionals to deliver successful project outcomes

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience as a civil excavator operator, with a strong understanding of construction machinery and techniques

Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

Proven track record of operating excavators in civil construction.

Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a diverse team

Willingness to undergo regular drug and alcohol testing, as per company policy
