Accessory Fitter – Gateway Automotive Wollongong

Gateway Automotive Wollongong, part of a growing multi-franchise dealership group under new management, is seeking an experienced Accessory Fitter to join our workshop team.

About the Role

As an Accessory Fitter, you will be responsible for the professional installation of a wide range of automotive accessories on new and used vehicles. You will ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Fit and install a variety of vehicle accessories including tow bars, bull bars, canopies, roof racks, lighting, audio systems, and more

Work to manufacturer and dealership standards to ensure quality workmanship

Diagnose and troubleshoot fitting or wiring issues as required

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace

Deliver consistent results within required timeframes

About You

Previous experience as an Accessory Fitter, Automotive Technician, or similar trade background

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Ability to interpret fitting instructions and technical diagrams

Knowledge of automotive electrical systems (desirable)

Current driver’s licence essential
