About the Role:

• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of public toilets, Council Buildings, Caravan Parks and other facilities across Delegate, Bombala and Nimmitabel in accordance with Health and Council Standards.
• Occasional grounds maintenance of council run facilities.
• Ensure the safety of staff and public through the appropriate use of safety equipment and clothing in accordance with relevant safety standards.
• Contribute to the performance of Council: demonstrate professional conduct, make the best use of knowledge, experience and skills and be accountable for own decisions and actions.
• Contribute to a safe workplace: comply with legislative and organisational requirements and be accountable for own decisions and actions.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

1. Demonstrated commitment in cleaning and maintenance
2. Proven experience in using and maintaining power equipment
3. Proven ability to work unsupervised
4. Demonstrated knowledge of PPE and workplace safety
5. Demonstrated ability to complete documentation.
6. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to work with others as a team member.
8. Current Class C Drivers Licence
