We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate contract Physiotherapist to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the quality of life through effective physical therapy.

Job Description:
As a contract Physiotherapist, you will be an integral part of our collaborative healthcare team, delivering specialized physiotherapy services.

You will work closely with our Exercise Physiologist and Doctors within the Medical Centre to provide expert care to patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, aiding in restoring physical function, mobility, and overall well-being.

The type of clients you will be treating include:

Private walk ins

Referrals from GPs (Medicare or Private)

WorkCover and/or CTP Claims

NDIS clients

Local Sporting Clubs

Range of clients (social to athletes!)

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and create tailored treatment plans.

Administer evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.

Monitor and document patient progress (using Cliniko), adjusting treatment plans as required.

Collaborate closely with physicians, Exercise Physiologist, and other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care.

Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and exercises.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and integrate them into treatments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

AHPRA Registration Certificate

SIRA Approval Number

Insurance (Professional Indemnity & Public Liability)

Working with Childrens Check (WWCC)

Police Check

Eligible to permanently work in Australia

Great people skills (VERY important)

Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Ongoing commitment to learning and staying updated with industry trends.

Previous experience in a medical center or clinical setting is advantageous.
