About the role

EWH Food Services is seeking a casual MR or HR Truck Driver to join our team in Beresfield, NSW. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of goods throughout the Newcastle and Central Coast area's

Casual position initally (5 days) with the view to permanent after 6 month probation period.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and maintain a medium rigid (MR) truck to transport goods to various locations

Conduct pre-operation checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements

Ensure load is secured and weight distributed correctly

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers upon delivery

Comply with all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies

Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records

What we're looking for

Current MR class driver's licence

Clean driving record with minor traffic violations acceptable

Minimum 2 years' experience operating medium rigid vehicles

National Police Check conducted upon employment

National Police Check to be completed before your start date

Strong customer service focus and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, with a flexible and adaptable approach

Australian citizenship required for this position
