About The Role:
- A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent's health Australia (SVHA).
- This is a Casual position with potential to go Permanent.
- Patient centred clinical practice in accordance with recognised standards and hospital policy.
- Provide optimal service to all customers including patients, visitors, VMOs and Allied Health professionals.
- Ensure open two-way communication is maintained with colleagues, staff, patients, visitors and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of patients and staff is maintained and communication and interpersonal skills are effective and appropriate.
About You:
- Valid AHPRA registration.
- Bachelor's in Nursing.
- Current/Previous scrub scout experience.
- Excellent communication skills and time management.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient centered care.

About The Mater:
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.
- One of Sydney's premier private hospitals.
- Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
- The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
- Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
