Situated on 30 acres between Rouse Hill and Windsor, Arndell caters for a growing population of almost 1300 students – with over 500 in Junior School (Prep to Year 6) and just under 800 in Secondary School (Years 7 to 12). The Invitation

Arndell Anglican College invites applications for the position of Junior School Teacher, commencing Term 1, 2026.

The Junior School Teacher is responsible for fostering student learning and development, nurturing creativity and academic achievement, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for learning.

Reporting to the Stage Leader of Learning and the Head of Junior School, the successful applicant will model best-practice curriculum delivery, integrate technology to enhance learning, and create engaging learning experiences that support the holistic development of each student — intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

In particular, the Junior School Teacher will:

Teach across the NESA curriculum, including English, Mathematics, Science, Technology, CAPA, and PDHPE.

Design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that cater to a wide range of learning abilities and styles.

Encourage and evaluate students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular learning opportunities.

Provide students with clear, fair assessment and regular, constructive feedback.

Build strong partnerships with parents and carers to support student progress and wellbeing.

Actively participate in the wider life of the College, including co-curricular activities, excursions, and College camps.

About You

As a Junior School Teacher, you hold tertiary qualifications in Education (Teaching) and accreditation (or eligibility) with NESA. You are passionate about the education of young people and demonstrate creativity, flexibility, and care in your approach to teaching.

You are committed to continuous improvement, uphold the Christian values of the College, and can engage students with diverse learning needs and interests. Your professionalism, strong communication skills, and collaborative approach will see you thrive within a supportive and dynamic Junior School team.
