Tallangatta Meat Processors presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our expanding team. Smiths TMP is a family run business in its third generation, our headoffice is located at the foothills of the Victorian Alps where the Murray and Kiewa rivers meet.

About the role
This is a full-time Storeperson role based in Shepparton, Victoria. As a Storeperson, you will play a key part in the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse and distribution centre of Smiths TMP', a leading manufacturing and logistics company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Receive, unload, sort, store and distribute incoming goods and materials according to established procedures

Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to move and locate stock items

Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders

Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

Assist with stock takes and cycle counts

Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety standards

Support the wider warehouse and logistics team as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehousing or logistics role, ideally within the manufacturing industry

Forklift licence and demonstrated experience operating warehouse equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers and inventory

Good communication and teamwork skills

Ability to follow procedures and work safely in a warehouse environment

Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights and weekends as required
