Core Banking Modernisation Program - Multiple Senior Roles

About the Program
Consortio has been engaged to support a multi-year Core Banking Modernisation Program with a leading financial institution headquartered in Victoria.
The initiative will consolidate core platforms across customer, deposits, loans, and payments — delivering a modern, compliant, and scalable banking ecosystem.
We are building a senior program team to shape and deliver the next phase of this transformation.
(1) Program Lead
Provide strategic leadership across all workstreams in a complex, multi-vendor core migration environment. You'll drive program governance, planning, and delivery across domains while ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.
Key Skills:

• 10+ years in large-scale core banking or digital transformation.
• Strong governance and stakeholder management experience (C-suite / SteerCo).
• Proven success leading multi-vendor delivery programs.

(2) PMO Lead
Establish and run the Program Management Office (PMO) for a high-visibility banking transformation. Oversee reporting, RAID management, budgets, and program cadence.
Key Skills:

• PMO experience on complex financial-services programs.
• Strong reporting and executive-pack development skills.
• Excellent knowledge of governance frameworks and controls.

(3) Chief / Integration Architect
Lead architectural design across the program, defining integration patterns and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
Key Skills:

• Deep technical experience in core banking and middleware integration.
• Familiarity with Hogan, Temenos, Finacle, FLEXCUBE, or FIS/Fiserv platforms.
• Expertise in data architecture, API management, and migration design.

(4) Migration SME
Design and lead the end-to-end data migration approach for the core platform transition — including mapping, cutover, reconciliation, and data quality assurance.
Key Skills:

• Data migration expertise across core banking systems (Hogan, Temenos, Finacle, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong data mapping, validation, and reconciliation background.
• Experience executing migrations within APRA-regulated environments.

(5) Strategic Advisor
Act as a senior advisor supporting the program's Steering Committee and leadership team, providing insight into governance, vendor strategy, and risk management.
Key Skills:

• 15+ years' experience advising on large-scale financial transformations.
• Strategic understanding of core banking modernisation.
• Strong communication and leadership influence.
